Alex Perry has been in the fashion game for over two decades, winning global praise for his eponymous couture label.
And just as fashion trends change over the years, so too has the 58-year-old’s facial features.
Stepping out at Afterpay Fashion Week Australia on Wednesday to host a live interview with P.E Nation designers Pip Edwards and Claire Tregoning, the catwalk king looked worlds away his days as fashion newcomer.

Alex, who has made no secret of his love of fillers and Botox, sported a distinctly puffy visage as he chatted to the women on-stage.
His lips and cheekbones appeared to jut out more than they did in his youth, while his complexion seemed very taut.
It comes after a leading plastic surgeon accused the Australian fashion designer of ‘excessive’ use of anti-wrinkle injections.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia in 2018, Beverly Hills surgeon to the stars Dr. Randal Haworth observed how Alex, 55, looks remarkably different in before and after photos and may have taken things too far.
Dr Haworth claimed Alex’s face now looked ‘crowded’ as a result of ‘too much’ filler.
‘There is no denying that Mr. Perry has undergone significant change to his countenance,’ Dr. Haworth noted.

‘Compared to his younger self, his face is now ‘crowded’, making his eyes appear smaller and closer set.
‘Most likely, a generous recipe of injected filler and more than a drizzle of Botox in and around his forehead, brows and temples contributed to this look.’
‘Additionally, his mid-face (the area between his lower eyes and upper lip) has been amply plumped to attain the ‘apple cheek’, a feature I feel is best left flatter in men,’ Dr. Haworth added.

The doctor went on to say that it’s hard to determine whether Alex’s cosmetic work is permanent or temporary.
‘Hopefully the fillers used to obtain Mr. Perry’s current look are absorbable and therefore temporary,’ he said.
‘However, if fat was used (which is a permanent, living filler) his options, unfortunately, will be more limited.’

Alex, whose celebrity fans include Rihanna and Kim Kardashian, told Yahoo in 2013 that he is not ashamed of using fillers and Botox.
‘There is nothing not real, there are a few fillers and there is a bit of Botox but that’s that. That’s normal, right?… It’s all real. It’s all real,’ he said.
In 2016, the Australia’s Next Top Model judge was famously criticised for his appearance by one of the show’s contestants, Kassidy Ure.
After Alex criticised her photos, the then 21-year-old sniped back: ‘At least my lips are real!’

‘Iggy is what I would describe as an excellent “canvas” on which a plastic surgeon can reveal his work,’ he claimed. ‘When done right, results can be sublime and indiscernible to a layman’s eye. In the absence of rare complications, less surgical work is needed to create the beautiful, yet subtle, results as exemplified by Ms Azalea – while a less-than-average surgeon could draw unwanted attention to an anatomical “flaw” which only makes things worse.’ said Dr Haworth.
He continued: ‘In certain photographs, her nose now appears slimmer even though it still retains her characteristic round tip and overly arched nostrils. A subtle rhinoplasty would have accomplished this. It is also apparent that her lips were likely enhanced with an off-the-shelf injectable filler such as Juvéderm or Restylane lending her a more pleasingly plump pout. However, describing the specifics of her enhancement is more challenging because Erin has adopted a relatively conservative wardrobe when flaunting her physique.’
Further more, Dr Haworth stated the supposed surgical conclusion was ‘in proportion to the rest of her body… thus avoiding a potentially jarring transformation’.
‘I am quite confident she has neither changed her nose nor augmented her cheeks or jawline. However, her face does seem more elegantly defined perhaps with the help of a little makeup alongside a loss of ‘baby fat’,’ stated the Beverly Hills surgeon.
Dr. Haworth also recognized that Jessie’s eyebrows appeared subtly higher over the years, and her lips, fuller.
‘Her eyebrows in certain photographs appear elevated into a more graceful arch which, at her age was most likely attained with Botox,’ he declared.
The celebrity surgeon also described: ‘A hyaluronic acid filler such as Juvéderm or Restylane was the most likely culprit behind her present pleasingly plump lips. What is more obvious is her augmented bosom. Certain dresses reveal unnaturally round breasts with clearly defined edges. To me, that spells breast augmentation until proven otherwise. Despite this, I feel the size of her breasts do complement the rest of her body,’ Dr. Haworth stated.
The plastic surgeon proceeded: ‘All in all, I feel Jessie has matured into a young beautiful woman who is obviously comfortable in her own skin.’
‘Her eyebrows are a tad too elevated into a pointed arch similar to Captain Spock, which is most likely the result of Botox. Ironically, this shape can be softened with a further small shot of Botox above each arch. I have a small suspicion Botox was also injected in and around her chin because her smile in recent pictures seems somewhat restricted and stiff,’ he explained.
Dr. Haworth also described how Michelle appears to have used a filler such as Juvéderm to plump her lips and under-eye hollows.
‘In certain angles, the filler seems to have accentuated her long upper lip which is a sign of aging. A tell-tale sign that filler was used to treat under-eye hollows is bulging below her lower eyes next to the nose. I can see Michelle has those when she is smiling in recent photographs.’
‘Based purely on her photographs, I strongly suspect Georgia had a brow lift of some sort, either with Botox or from surgery,’ he said. ‘I say this because her eyebrows are not only better shaped with a classical outside arch but also elevated to a pleasing degree. The absence of normal forehead wrinkles and crows feet support Botox treatments.’
Dr Haworth continued: ‘Though Georgia always had full, apple cheeks centered around her nose, they now extend outward towards her ear in a classically refined fashion. However, her mid-face below her cheekbones is noticeably slimmer which may be the result of weight loss, removal of her buccal fat pad or simple contouring.’
‘I feel she may have had a rhinoplasty because her nasal tip is more refined and her nasal bones narrower,’ he claimed.
Tamara Jaber, the ex-wife of Kyle Sandilands debuted a dramatic new look during an appearance on The Morning Show last week. She has stayed quiet on the subject of cosmetic procedures. Dr. Haworth, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon believes her changing look may be the result of a little nip and tuck. Haworth told The Daily Mail ‘I believe Miss Jaber has followed what many do when coming to Hollywood in search of change, whether in their personal or professional lives. And that is to seek out the services of a plastic surgeon’
Dr Haworth claimed that Tamara may have had surgery to refine the shape of her nose. ‘It does not take a hyperaesthetic specialist such as myself to ascertain she has undergone a rhinoplasty,’ Haworth said. Haworth also claimed that her elevated and refined cheeks, fuller lips and noticeably defined jawline have contributed to her overall facial transformation.
