This mid 50's gentleman felt he looked exhausted which did not compliment his energy in his succesful real estate business. He not only sought to "turn back the clock" by15 years, but also to achieve better facial proportion through nasal refinement. He underwent a modified comprehensive facelift, Transbleph browlift (done through the same upper eyelid incision that an upper eyelift-blepharoplasty is performed), chin augmentatiuon and a rhinoplasty amongst other surgical changes. He is still somewhat swollen at the time of this 3.5 month followup photographic set, but he still looks vastly refreshed over his preop appearance. The vast majority of facelift swelling dissipates withing 3 months, but it can take up to to a year for all vestiges of "water retention" to disppear.

Notice his newly rejuvented neckline, jawline and chin enhancement. The chin implant complimented the necklift . Even though he underwent a succesful necklift (which is an integral part of a facelift), his results would not have been so dramatic were it not for the addition of a chin implant.
