This young Russian woman came to Dr. Haworth, a facial plastic surgery expert located in Beverly Hills, to improve her "tired", "blah" appearance that did not match her internal spirit. Of note, she had a nasal deformity from a past rhinoplasty procedure.

After detailed analysis, Dr. HAWORTH in conjunction with the patients understanding and wishes, felt she would best be served by an endoscopic brow lift (performed through four discrete incisions located behind the hairline), an endoscopic, subperiosteal midface lift performed with an absorbable Endotine ST™ device, fat transfer to her lower eyelid hollows as well as an upper lip lift to decrease the distance from her nose to her upper lip line. The surgery took approximately 3 1/2 hours to perform. She was very swollen for a week and a half. All of her staples and stitches were removed by the seventh day while her small drain was removed the day after surgery. She felt ready to go out in public by the third to fourth week. However, as is the norm, she felt facial stiffness for approximately 3 to 4 months.

Note her improved facial harmony. Her face no longer looks attenuated and thin  and is more diamond shaped. She has a better, more fluid transition from her lower eyelash line into her cheek as seen from the oblique and profile view-this aesthetic improvement results from both the combination of the midface lift as well as the fat transfer to her lower eyelid hollows. The upper lip lift imparts more sensuality and harmony to the face. All her facial structures speak to each other now, save for her nose which, hopefully, will be addressed at a later date!

One year follow-up photos are presented. Of note, Dr. Haworth, being a facial plastic surgery expert in Beverly Hills, also performed fat transfer to the lower aspects of her chin as well as liposuction underneath the same.
